Course Levels
Beginners – Levels 1 (New) & 2 : After an introduction to the French language in level 1 where we focused on pronunciation and the basics, you are now able to introduce yourself, ask basic questions, express what you like and dislike…
In Level 2 you will strengthen the basics of Level 1 and learn how to talk about your family, speak in the past, ask more questions and a lot more. Amanda loves this level as it’s an exciting step ahead!
Intermediate Level 1: After a few levels of beginners, you are now able to read and express yourself on a variety of subjects, but you still have a lot of grammar and vocabulary to add to your knowledge. We also focus a little on writing.
At this level, you can already start thinking of a trip to France as you are definitely able to get by and enjoy it!
Intermediate +: After a few terms of Intermediate, your confidence has grown. We will focus on more reading and discussions in the class on a variety of topics to expand your vocabulary.
And being French, there is always a bit of grammar!
Advanced: You are now confident to express yourself on any topic at a good level. Classes will include reading, writing, debating, grammar and anything else we decide to do as a group (like reading a small French book, poems, songs..).
