Alcoholics Anonymous
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. -
Art Therapy
This small group of all abilities students use art therapy as a basis of creative expression. -
BeConnected Online Computer Courses
A collection of short online courses to get you started with your computer knowledge. -
Bones for Life – Feldenkrais
The program consists of a series of simple dynamic lessons to improve bone health with gentle weight bearing movements to stimulate bone strength and to ease joint pain with simple exercises. -
Computer Courses in Russian
A selection of classes all conducted in fluent Russian, including Technology for Beginners, Computer Course and Using your iPad/ Smartphone. All classes are taught by a native Russian speaker with a PhD in Information Technology. -
Creative Writing Workshop – Roomers
Roomers provides weekly writing workshops, aiming to give residents the opportunity and incentive to improve literacy, creative and communication skills and access to a skilled mentor. -
Elwood Community Choir
Come and have some fun singing in your own local choir! No auditions, all welcome. World music, music by Australian artists, pop, and more. -
Elwood Toy Library
It’s the biggest toy box you’ve ever seen! It’s a place where you can borrow toys, games, puzzles and costumes for up to three weeks at a time. -
English as Another Language (EAL) – Intermediate
This is the continuation of our English program where learners take part in basic conversations and gain confidence. -

This is the continuation of our English program with an emphasis on basic conversations and a range of subjects of interest. -
English Conversation
This course is ideal for those that want to practice speaking and pronunciation. The course in interactive so it can be tailored to meet your interests and needs. Eg. workplace English. Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate students only. -
French
Ranging between beginner and advanced, our French classes are run on demand and are taught by a native French speaker with experience teaching adults. -
Galiamble Men’s Recovery Group
Galiamble Men’s Alcohol and Drug Recovery Centre is a 24 hour residential alcohol and rehabilitation centre for men located in St Kilda. -

Life Drawing
This great casual untutored Life Drawing comes to Elwood after a 25 year stint at the Linden Art Gallery. Anselm has built up a beautiful group of budding artists with all different skills and experience. -
Mobile Phones, iPads & Other Devices
A beginner’s class to learn about your device including how to change settings, use the internet, send emails, download Apps, set up an iTunes account, etc. -
Narcotics Anonymous
Run by Galiamble, all are welcome to attend these meetings which focus on the needs of new members of NA and invite participation by all attendees. Meetings occur weekly on Tuesdays from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. Contact: 9534 1602 or galiamble@ngwala.org.au -
Overeaters Anonymous
A fellowship of individuals who through shared experiences are recovering from compulsive overeating. The group follows the 12 steps of OA and meets monthly on the first Sunday of each month at 11am to 12.15pm. These OA meetings are a hybrid delivery format, held on zoom and face to face at ESNLC. Pilates Classes
Join Antoinette from Restore Pilates, for Pilates classes at Elwood St.Kilda Neighbourhood Learning Centre. Classes run on Wednesdays from 12.30pm – 1.30pm.
