This course is designed to build upon basic knowledge of mobile phones, iPads or other tablets and is taught with a flexible approach to content based on students’ needs.

Topics covered in this course may include:

• GPS & Location Sharing – How to use GPS, share locations, and pin locations on maps.
• Mobile Phone Functions – Understanding essential functions like contacts, calendar, and hotspot.
• Mobile Safety & Security – passcodes, ways to locate a lost phone and mobile safety tips.
• Exploring Settings – Review of important phone settings and customizing options.
• Photo Management – Taking and editing photos, managing storage, and using cloud backups.
• Booking Travel – How to book flights and hotels, and use maps for navigation.
• Digital Communication Etiquette – Best practices for digital communication and sharing photos.

Course Details

• Level: Pre-Intermediate
• Tuesdays 10:00am-12:00pm
• Term 2 2025: 29 April to 1 July (10 weeks).
• Cost: $50 ($35 conc.) or $97.50 for non-residents*
